Me just being me.

Dirtbag Blues was launched in May of 2012 with the intention of keeping it's author, Brandon, mildly entertained. Here you'll find a bunch of random crap the other college baseball sites that pretend to have some dignity won't offer.

Contrary to a popular belief that Brandon assumes may develop, the name "Dirtbag Blues" is not a reference to the popular Dodger fansite "Dodger Blues", although much of their content is written in the same vain as the posts you'll find here. Dirtbag Blues was simply a cool name Brandon thought of and didn't have the foresight to make the "Dodger Blues" connection before launching this blog.

Anyway, "Dodger Blues", please don't sue me.

In his personal life, Brandon is a baseball fan and amateur writer who enjoys referring to himself in the third person while venting on the internets. Brandon's favorite teams are the Los Angeles Dodgers and Long Beach State Dirtbags. His life accomplishments include once catching a fly ball on his high school JV team and scoring Matt Summers 2011 no-hitter versus the Dirtbags.

He currently resides in Washington, DC.
